When someone asks AI for the best lawyer in town, is it your firm?
Legal is high-intent and high-value. Increasingly it starts with "best personal injury lawyer in [city]" typed into an AI — and the AI names a few firms. When one case is worth five or six figures, being absent from that answer is expensive.
What AI looks for in a firm
- Practice-area pages that state clearly what you do and where ("car accident lawyer in [city]") so AI matches matter type to firm.
- Reviews and recognizable signals — volume, recency, and awards the AI can cite.
- Authoritative listings (bar association, Justia, Avvo) and "best [practice] attorney in [city]" roundups.
- Consistent firm name + NAP across the web for entity resolution.
Most firms over-invest in ads and under-invest in being the name the AI volunteers for free. That gap is the opportunity.
